Client Engagement Manager

Job Description

The Client Engagement manager is responsible for building, nurturing and growing our client relationships and managing all projects related to their group of clients.

Starting from the earliest stage of interaction with a new client you will understand their needs, work with our consultants to put together a proposal, handle contract negotiations, set out a project calendar and deliverables that identifies all the key functional experts who need to be involved. As the individual who best understands the clients needs and situation you will be key to the process of briefing our consultants and of shaping and fine-tuning their recommendations.

You will take care of all day-to-day client communications, commercial matters and calendar and project management on each client. You will also be responsible for nurturing and building the client relationship, mapping out their future needs and recommending how we can continue to help them in the future.

Experience and Skills

We’re looking for people with a strong account management background in an advertising agency or marketing services company, with experience handling a large client and dealing with senior client personnel (CMOs and above).

You MUST be bilingual in English and Chinese, able to read and create documents and be comfortable with conducting business meetings in both languages.

You MUST be based in China and have worked here at an account director or more senior level for at least 3 years.

You MUST have experience on both international and Chinese brands in China.

You MUST be well versed in the marketing services environment and industry in China and have the ability to work well with creative, CRM, media and branding experts to help put together recommendations and proposals.

You MUST be an excellent project manager who can deliver on time and to a very high quality.
